Our Customers: More Outlets for Fresh Food
The first Market Mobile delivery was on a wintry Saturday in January 2009 to three Providence restaurants. Word got around and additional restaurants, schools and independent grocers started participating, making new delivery routes from Providence to Newport and Boston possible.Market Mobile is truly a community effort. It is the sum of the commitment of many individuals – chefs, small business owners, food service administrators. They may not know each other but what they all share is a love of food and a concern for the health of our farms, our environment and our local community. They fill the Market Mobile trucks each week. Having regional delivery routes in place, is what allows Farm Fresh to engage schools, hospitals, workplaces and other institutions whose purchasing practices often require longer conversations.

Boat House
in Tiverton, RI
"Market Mobile is the best thing to happen to the state of Rhode Island, its people, and its farmers in many years. As for me personally, it is the best thing that has happened to me in my culinary career. The products offered are all incredible, and I have relationships with most of the farmers that participate. If people work together on a dream or goal it can become a reality."
-- Chef Jonathan Cambra

Blue Cross Blue Shield
in Providence, RI
"We place small signs in the cafeteria informing our employees of the farm where the product was grown and harvested. We always get feedback like 'that farm is down the road from me' or 'I have a cousin that worked at that farm for the summer'. I love trying new things and with ordering right from the farm."
-- Chef Mike Mooney

Waterman Grille
in Providence, RI
"Market Mobile has allowed chefs the best of both worlds, to order this great product and to not have to leave our kitchens to get it. The selection is very good, and the food that is taken off of the truck and into our back doors is out of this world. I feel privileged to be apart of this program and how it touches so many people in so many ways."
-- Chef Kevin DiLibero
