Whatever Chef Wagner can’t source locally, he takes from his own backyard herb and vegetable garden. He has also been nominated twice for The James Beard Rising Star Award and has been featured on both television (Food Network) and print (Food & Wine, The New York Times) and has been named “One of the World’s Best Restaurants” by Fodor’s International Travel Guide three years in a row.
What started as a place to hang out after long college classes, then after long late night shifts, turned into a grass roots movement, fueled by locally sourced ingredients. Retaining that local hangout atmosphere created by former owner Nick Sammartinon Chef, Owner Derek Wagner pays homage to his old friend Nick every time he walks into the kitchen. Located on Broadway in the West End of Providence, you’re always guaranteed a fresh, fabulous meal. Nick approved.
