A bit about the Ashland Farmers Market
What is a community-based, producer-only farmers market? A community-based, producer-only farmers market is not just another retail enterprise. It is part of a growing environmental movement trying to pioneer ways to save the land, provide small farmers and small producers with a way to stay in business, and to educate ourselves and our children about the food that we eat. Best of all, the market is a place where we meet our neighbors, make new friends, and make our community stronger.
Each week we offer a wonderful selection of vendors, growers, makers, producers, artisans. Also each week we feature: live music featuring the best of local musicians (on the World Forager Stage, 10:30 - noon); a fabulous and interactive children's activity for kids of all ages from 9:30 - 10:30; a Community table with very special local guests each week; and last but by no means least, a juried selection of artisans and artists from the Ashland area.
