A bit about the Osterville Farmers Market
From organic fruits and vegetables to jams and jellies, breads, eggs, BBQ, handmade soaps, poultry, plants, cupcakes, spices, and herbs to codfish cakes with cranberries, the Osterville Farmers' Market has something for everyone...
The Osterville Farmers' Market was started by The Osterville Historical Museum in 2009, as a way to offer to the general public in the town of Barnstable access to what was once common place, locally harvested produce. The Market is free to the public and the Museum is also open free of charge to any visitor.
The Osterville Farmers' Market is located under and around the beautiful cedar grove on the Museum's campus and offers a wide range of produce from breads and pastries to smoked salmon and lobsters; Miss Scarlett's Farm takes orders for holiday turkey's, Bakers provide everything from French baguettes, granola, gluten-free breads, cookies and specialty breads. The Museum is a member of Buy Fresh Buy Local which encourages, and is a resource for, certified naturally grown, pesticide-free produce.

Though every season is unique, we use our Harvest Calendar and information about what each vendor produces to provide a good guess as to what will be available at the market each week. But we don't have details on which farmers come to this market. If you do, let us know.
