The Wintertime Farmers Market started in Providence in 2007 inside AS220 with 10-12 farms and producers. The market quickly outgrew the performance space and in 2008 jumped just across the Providence / Pawtucket line to the south hall of Hope Artiste Village, where the Wintertime Market opened its third season in 2009 with over 50 farms and producers. In 2010, the market expanded to a second day: Wednesday evenings.
Food Stamps / SNAP:
Farm Fresh offers $2 free for every $5 for customers using their EBT cards (SNAP). Thanks to Bank RI, The Rhode Island Foundation, June Rockwell Levy Foundation, Wholesome Wave, and your donations.

Foods at the Market*
Though every season is unique, we use our Harvest Calendar and information about what each vendor produces to provide a good guess as to what will be available at the market each week. But we don't have details on which farmers come to this market. If you do, let us know.
