A little about Salt Water Farms
Fresh, local oysters, brought to you by a local RI family!
Salt Water Farms is a carefully sighted shellfish farm, producing a sustainable crop of oysters in the East Passage of Narragansett Bay. In this location strong tides wash billions of microscopic plankton over long-line suspended oyster trays. Tall sets of trays swing in the current as the Quonset Point, Beavertail, and Umami Oysters filter the lush food supply.
