The CSA will begin Tuesday June 19th and run for twenty weeks until October 30, 2012. We are offering full shares for $600. If you feel that might be too much, team up with a friend and pick up on alternate weeks. The drop will be held on the West side of Providence, Tuesday evenings from 4-6:30 pm. A typical share will include enough veggies to feed 2-4 individuals. Keep in mind that shares are lighter in the spring�lots of greens�and heavier in August and September when tomatoes arrive along with the rest of summer�s bounty. Vegetables in your share will include family favorites along with some rare and heirloom varieties.
We will also be offering egg shares. The chickens are raised in a moveable coop and have access to all the fresh air, sun, and grass that they desire. The eggs have superb flavor with deep orange yolks. 1 doz per week $100, 1 doz every two weeks $50

A little about Zephyr Farm
Michele Kozloski, former coordinator between Urban Edge Farm and Southside Community Land Trust, has been farming for 15 years, 9 of which have been in Rhode Island. Michele is excited to announce the beginning of a new farm venture, Zephyr Farm, located in Cranston, RI started in 2008. The farm will be offering vegetable shares for the 2012 season along with farm fresh egg shares. Vegetables are grown without any synthetic pesticides or fertilizers.
