A little about Luckyfoot Ranch & CSA
Luckyfoot Ranch was originally founded by my father, Kevin, in the 1980's as a rabbitry in Charlestown RI. As of 2009, I, Matthew-Peter; Thibodeau, have revitalized the farm and, along with our land in Charlestown, have land in East Greenwich and North Kingstown. Today, we grow an assortment of vegetables, fruits, and herbs. In the coming years, we are looking to expand into jams, jellies, other canned goods, maple syrup, and possibly even baked goods.
Everything that is sold by Luckyfoot Ranch is grown by us, nothing we sell is ever bought and resold. We are not Certified Organic; but although we are not Certified by some faceless, soulless bureaucracy, we refuse to use synthetic, artificial, or otherwise toxic chemicals (e.g. fungicides, insecticides, etc) because we believe in growing the best, most wholesome, natural, food possible; just as our ancestors have since time immemorial.
