Elmrock Farm in Hopkinton, RI
Some of what we grow is available year-round.
Tucked away in the southwestern part of the state, Elmrock Farm is a 260 acre farm owned and operated by Trina and Gary Marsh.
They have a herd of 120 Ayrshires and Holsteins, and milk about 65. The farm has been in Trina's family since 1889, and a working dairy farm since the 1920s. Gary and Trina took over the farm in 2009, and purchased another 33 acres of land to expand the farm in September of 2010.
A trail behind the farm is part of the Hopkins Land Trust's walking trails.
Gary's off-farm job is a woodworking shop, where they build cabinets, furniture and more. They eventually plan to bring the woodworking shop right onto the farm.
