A little about Moonstone Oysters
Our leases are located in Narra- gansett, Rhode Island’s Point Ju- dith Pond – a shallow, well flushed tidal salt pond. High salinity and rich growing waters ensure that the flavor of Moonstone Oysters is second to none.
Moonstone Oysters owner John and Cindy West are graduates of the Univeristy of Rhode Island, with degrees in Resource Developmetn and Aquaculture.
They have been growing shellfish since 1993 and are board members of the Ocean State Shellfish Cooperative and members of the Ocean State Aquaculture Association. Moonstone Oysters is a family run business providing delicious oysters year-round.
