Astarte Farm in Hadley, MA organic certified
What’s in a vegetable seed? The accumulated wisdom of up to 10,000 years of growing is passed down to us at this moment. We pick all of our varieties for superior taste, source organic and biodynamic seed whenever possible, and even grow a few outstanding hybrids. The seed we save for 50 heirloom tomatoes varieties and 10 garlics continues to evolve in our locale, producing unique flavor profiles
We are a certified organic market garden set in the Pioneer Valley, selling primarily at the Amherst Farmers' Market from the first weekend in May through the middle of November, with a limited amount of subscription and wholesale business. We specialize in heirloom tomatoes (both plants and fruit), unusual lettuce varieties, sweet corn, garlic and a broad array of market garden produce.
