From the East:
From the I-91 exit in Greenfield take Rte 2 West about 14 miles (3.5 miles beyond Shelburne Falls). On your right will be Stillwaters Restaurant and the Oxbow Resort Motel. One half mile later, turn right on Avery Road, where the sign will direct you towards Heath Center. After almost 2 miles, the road forks. Take right fork and wind uphill for 2 miles until you come to a T-junction. Turn right onto Taylor Brook Road, which is gravel, and go 1 mile. Stop at the crossroads, then turn right on Flagg Hill Road (also gravel). Climb a short steep hill, and follow the road for 1.7 miles, always bearing right. Follow signs to the Benson Place. We are at the end of the road on the right.
OR from the I-91 exit, drive 5 miles. Soon after Hagers' Farm Market on the right, turn right on Colrain-Shelburne Road. Go 5 miles to Colrain Center. Turn left on 112 South and go less than a mile. Turn right on Foundry Village Rd for a mile, at which point Adamsville Rd merges from the left. After less than a mile, go left on Heath Road. Climb for 3 miles (road turns to gravel). Cross causeway, then stop at crossroads. Turn left on Flagg Hill Road, climb a short steep hill, and follow the road for 1.7 miles, always bearing right. Follow signs to the Benson Place. We are at the end of the road on the right.
From the West:
From the village of Charlemont (which is 20 miles east of North Adams), travel approximately 3.5 miles east on Rte 2. Turn left onto Avery Road, where a sign will direct you towards Heath Center. Then as above.
From the North:
Take I-91 South to Greenfield, then then follow directions from the East.
OR from Wilmington, VT take Rte 100 South to Jacksonville (about 6 miles). Left on 112 about 2.5 miles. Right on 8A, go about 7 miles, crossing into MA. After passing Number Nine Road on right with sign to Peters Store, take first left (Branch Hill Road), Go about 2 miles to second right, which is Swamp Road (called Hosmer if you were turning left). Take Swamp Road .5 mile to a crossroads at which time road name changes to Flagg Hill Road. Climb a short steep hill, and follow the road for 1.7 miles, always bearing right. Follow signs to the Benson Place. We are at the end of the road on the right.
From the South:
Take I-91 North to Greenfield, then follow directions from the East. Or take 112 North to Shelburne Falls, then follow directions from the East. Or take 8A North to Charlemont, then follow directions from the West.

From the East:
