A little about Red Fire Farm
Share the season with us! We grow certified organic produce, fruit, eggs, garden plants and flowers on 115 acres in Granby and Montague, MA to share with the community through our CSA farm shares and farm stands. Farmers Ryan and Sarah Voiland and the Red Fire crew work to provide the highest quality, freshest food for the four seasons of the year!

You can find our shares in the greater Boston area, as well as in Western MA. We have lots of experience growing and would be happy to be your farm!

November and December Winter Shares and new Locavore Deep Winter Shares available currently! This year we are storing away delicious root crops, cabbages, onions and more, and sowing our greenhouses full with winter hardy greens to make eating locally a little easier. Every two weeks in November, December, January, February and March we'll bring things out to share with you! We're partnering with makers of some local products to incorporate them into the January and beyond shares, from Real Pickles sauerkraut, to maple syrup, to apples.

All vegetables organic. Items from other producers organic when possible or very locally sourced otherwise. All items will be vegetarian friendly.

Organic free-range Egg Shares available as well. Details on our website.

Details are on our website at http://www.redfirefarm.com/CSA/join.html and also more details on times at http://www.redfirefarm.com/CSA/wintercsasites.html .

We also will be selling at winter farmers markets in Springfield Forest Park, Amherst Middle School, Northampton Winter Market, Russels Garden Center in Wayland, the Cambridge Community Center and the Greenfield Winter farmer's market. Many items are also available by bulk order for pickup at our Granby or Montague coolers.

CSA information:
Certified Organic Produce Shares, Cut Flower Shares, Egg Shares & Fruit Shares. We offer a superb selection of produce grown in our 150 acres of fields. Our huge diversity of crops and varieties along with our attention to the details of growing and harvesting have led some of our members to rate our farm as the best in the valley for CSA shares! We offer distributions at our farm locations in Granby & Montague, and also at locations in Amherst, Springfield, Northampton & the greater Boston area (see CSA sidebar for locations). In addition to great produce we have farm events, member pick you own, a great newsletter.

This season begins in early June and ends in December for a total of 24 distributions. The distributions are weekly except for the fall share during November and December when they are every other week. The share is available on a sliding scale of $595-$725. Please pay at least $575 is you reside in Western MA or $610 if you reside in the Boston area (unless you are low income). Payments over $650 will be used to subsidize shares for low income members. For those who want only a Summer Share, Red Fire Farm offers a 20 week option which ends in mid-October.

Fall shares are available from November-December 2014 and winter shares from January-March 2015. Shares will include root crops, cabbages, garlic and more – as well as other local products like Real Pickles sauerkraut and apples from local orchards. Also available are new, frozen produce selections from the season including peaches, tomatoes and peppers! Distribution occurs biweekly at locations in Granby, Montague, Somerville, JP, and Cambridge, and home delivery is available as well. Fall shares range from $135-140 and winter shares from $295-310, with a $10 discount available to customers who bundle fall and winter shares before October 28th. Fruit shares, egg shares, bread shares and flower shares are also available for 2015 purchase and are limited in availability.
