A little about Red Fire Farm
Share the season with us! We grow certified organic produce, fruit, eggs, garden plants and flowers on 115 acres in Granby and Montague, MA to share with the community through our CSA farm shares and farm stands. Farmers Ryan and Sarah Voiland and the Red Fire crew work to provide the highest quality, freshest food for the four seasons of the year!
You can find our shares in the greater Boston area, as well as in Western MA. We have lots of experience growing and would be happy to be your farm!
November and December Winter Shares and new Locavore Deep Winter Shares available currently! This year we are storing away delicious root crops, cabbages, onions and more, and sowing our greenhouses full with winter hardy greens to make eating locally a little easier. Every two weeks in November, December, January, February and March we'll bring things out to share with you! We're partnering with makers of some local products to incorporate them into the January and beyond shares, from Real Pickles sauerkraut, to maple syrup, to apples.
All vegetables organic. Items from other producers organic when possible or very locally sourced otherwise. All items will be vegetarian friendly.
Winter Share pick up: Fridays in Granby at the farm, plus pick up locations in Montague, Summerville, Cambridge, Jamaica Plains, MIT, Newton and Brighton
Organic free-range Egg Shares available as well. Details on our website.
Deep winter pick up: Alternate Fridays, January-March in Granby, Summerville and MIT.
Details are on our website at http://www.redfirefarm.com/CSA/join.html and also more details on times at http://www.redfirefarm.com/CSA/wintercsasites.html .
We also will be selling at winter farmers markets in Springfield Forest Park, Amherst Middle School, Russels Garden Center in Wayland, the Cambridge Community Center and we are contemplating the Greenfield Winter farmer's market. Many items are also available by bulk order for pickup at our Granby or Montague coolers
