A little about Bird Haven Blueberry Farm
"Selling Blueberries year round" is still a good motto to have. I will be getting shipments of wild frozen Maine blueberries all winter and spring. Prices will always be less than supermarket prices. Get them in bulk of 30# for the best price (split it up with family or friends) or in 3# bags from the store freezer.
For you dry flower enthusiasts PYO Hydrangea, tansy and tall verigated grasses are in bloom.. Regular store hours apply.
As one season ends at the farm another begins it will soon be.......leaf and grass recycling season. I do try to make it as enjoyable as possible for you many leaf rakers. Where else can you dump your fall leaves in a farm/parklike atmosphere then come inside for coffee or hot apple cider. Some even bring picnic blankets and picnic baskets(Actually very few). The reopening of the fall leaf collection would not be possible without the help of Brian Greenwood of Greenwood Builders and his family. Thanks again Brian for the use of your tractor .
