| Charmingfare Farm
Charmingfare Garden CSA is a subscription based, Community Supported Agricultural (CSA) garden. We sell shares of our harvest, to our members who want quality, locally grown, fresh produce, at reasonable prices. Members pick up their produce during the 18 weeks between June and October. We pick ripe produce that morning, and make it available for our members in "Farm Stand" setting. Members fill their Garden Bags themselves choosing only what they want and need. We also offer a limited amount of meat and eggs that can be purchased separately. While at the farm, members can tour Charmingfare Farm, a USDA and state licensed zoo, visit the bears, wolves etc., see and learn all about how food is grown, and pick fresh herbs and flowers from the gardens. |

Our CSA offers a wide variety of certified organic produce that includes classic varieties plus heirlooms and unusual hard-to-find varieties. New in 2012 will be a pick your own garden of herbs, flowers, and vegetables and a flock of free range chickens for the kids to visit. What is CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture, often shortened to CSA, is a prepaid subscription to a farm's produce for the season. Most CSAs give shareholders a weekly supply of veggies, herbs, fruits and sometimes even eggs and meat. You know it's fresh and you get to meet the farm and people who grew your food! The prepaid CSA arrangements also makes it a source of financial security for the farmer. Some CSAs also incorporate farm workdays for shareholders. Pickup days vary by farm and some offer pickups in Providence.CSAs have been very popular recently. Be sure to sign up early before subscriptions are filled!
