Harvest Share Registration 2010 The harvest period begins week of June 14th and continues until October 1st. Our share provides a variety of fresh vegetables grown on the farm, when in season, each week for a family of 2-4. We have a limited number of shares available. On occasion, cut flowers and fresh herbs may be included in your weekly pickup. Full Share = $350.00 Loyalty Discount = $25.00 (for prior CSA Members) Senior Discount = $25.00 (age 60) A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is needed by March 1, 2010 to hold your share. Shares may be paid in installments but the full amount must be paid by June 1, 2010. We also offer Discounted Shares at our Farm Stand. $90.00 in advance for $100.00 worth of vegetables at market price. or $45.00 in advance for $50.00 worth of vegetables at market price. What is CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture, often shortened to CSA, is a prepaid subscription to a farm's produce for the season. Most CSAs give shareholders a weekly supply of veggies, herbs, fruits and sometimes even eggs and meat. You know it's fresh and you get to meet the farm and people who grew your food! The prepaid CSA arrangements also makes it a source of financial security for the farmer. Some CSAs also incorporate farm workdays for shareholders. Pickup days vary by farm and some offer pickups in Providence.CSAs have been very popular recently. Be sure to sign up early before subscriptions are filled!
