The shares contain herbs and remedies for a host of commonly encountered conditions such as colds, flus, sore throats, coughs, digestive issues, sleep improvement, skin conditions, children’s health, and more. When you purchase a share, it helps support the work we do growing and processing the herbs into useful natural medicines that nourish the body and enhance vitality. This year, shares will be divided into three separate pickup dates throughout the growing season in August, September, and October. During the scheduled pickup at the farm in Conway, members will be encouraged to meet the plants that comprise their share and there will be a short educational session about how best to use the herbs provided in that month's share. Also, beginning this year we are tailoring each share to take advantage of what the season brings at the farm (different from previous years where there was a choice structure and only one pick-up.) Pick-up: Tuesdays 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Pick-up is at the farm stand, 137 Beldingville Road in Ashfield. CSA runs from Tuesday June 4th to Tuesday October 15th; a total of 20 weeks. Cost and Sizes: Shares cost $400 for the season. We are offering one size share: a generous 3/4 bushel box, with some bulkier items available outside the box. Most of the share will be pre-packed, but we will offer some items available as free choice too. This should be sufficient to provide enough fresh vegetable for a family of 2-4 for a week. Shares will average at least $20 of produce a week for 20 weeks. Box 16 Ashfield, MA 01330 Full Payment is expected by first pick-up day on June 4th. What to Expect in your box: Each week we will provide a generous and balanced box of vegetables. We strive for consistency of availability with our vegetables with a careful planting schedule. With our greenhouses we hope to have tomatoes and other warm season vegetables available for a longer season. Nothing of course is guaranteed because every season offers different challenges, as a member of the farm you take on the risk of crop failure. |

What is CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture, often shortened to CSA, is a prepaid subscription to a farm's produce for the season. Most CSAs give shareholders a weekly supply of veggies, herbs, fruits and sometimes even eggs and meat. You know it's fresh and you get to meet the farm and people who grew your food! The prepaid CSA arrangements also makes it a source of financial security for the farmer. Some CSAs also incorporate farm workdays for shareholders. Pickup days vary by farm and some offer pickups in Providence.CSAs have been very popular recently. Be sure to sign up early before subscriptions are filled!
